Puzzle selection for CAT DILR<\/a> has become different from 2015. I remember taking CAT 2015, where the puzzles were suddenly out of whack, insanely tough and required a sound temperament<\/a> to deal with it well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have never met a CAT Aspirant who did not have any problems with selecting the right puzzles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This article will explain why puzzle selection<\/em><\/strong> is of prime importance to obtain a great CAT Score, and how to do it most effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAT Question Paper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CAT 2017 and CAT 2018 actual CAT Question Paper<\/a> pdf are available across the interwebz. However, the downside of the same is that the pdf’s also contain correct options right next to the questions through colors of options. So If you would want to use it to practice, then it becomes almost impossible to solve the questions without glancing at the right option. Hence, presenting the official CAT Question paper in a student-friendly format becomes imperative. We at 2IIM, came out with a format that contains all questions across slides, with correct answers and links to video solutions at the end of the pdf, with ease of access and ability to use it to test oneself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puzzle Selection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Knowing what puzzles to choose in the DILR section could make or break your CAT score, and is a vital part of your CAT prep. But there are no guidelines available to teach you that. Also, the guidelines will differ from person to person, and has to be a unique strategy for who you are as a CAT Aspirant, based on your comfort, skills, experience, thought process etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start off this process, I have created a video that has me, looking through CAT 2018 DILR Section of slot 2 and taking you through my thought process in selecting the right puzzles based on My<\/strong> strengths! A small description of what kind of Candidate I am herewith: Strong at Arithmetic, Okay at Logical Reasoning, Poor with Numbers and Data interpretation. ( I have an aversion<\/strong> towards math in general!<\/em> ). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
