IIM Indore started the Integrated Programme in Management in 2011, being the first IIM to do so, with an aim to create excellent, well-rounded managers with a touch of social responsibility. IPM is aimed at students completing their 12th examinations with a desire for a fulfilling career in business management. IIM Indore's IPM Aptitude Test consists of two subjects tested under three separate sections:
1. Quantitative Aptitude (MCQ)
2. Quantitative Aptitude (Short Answer)
3. Verbal Ability (MCQ and Short Answer)

All 100 questions will carry a total of 4 marks for a correct answer. For MCQ questions, there's a negative marking of -1 in case you get it wrong. Non-MCQ questions in Verbal also carry negative marking of -1. Only for Quant Short Answer questions, there's no negative marking. Lastly, there’s no penalty for unanswered questions.

IIM Indore IPM’s Marking Scheme: +4 for a correct answer, -1 for incorrect answer (No negative marking for Quant Short answers).

Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2003 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1998). For an Interview Call: For the Online Personal Interview Process, you will get called only based on IPMAT ATS scores.

Final Selection: The final selection is based on two components with the following weightages

Stage 2: Aptitude Test: IIM Indore is going to conduct its IPMAT 2023 on 16^th June 2023(Afternoon Slot). Based on your performance in IPMAT and the final ATS score, you will be called for "Personal Assessment".

Stage 3: Online Personal Interview & Waitlist: The initial shortlisting for the Interview process will be purely based on IPMAT 2023 ATS scores. The candidates will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills during their personal interviews . Last year the shortlist for personal interviews were released in the Fourth Week of July 2022 and you can check for updates around the same time this year as well.

Stage 4: Final selection & Waitlist: The final selection is based on two components - Aptitude Test Scores and Personal Assessment with the weightages as mentioned above.

According to the information given in the website, fees for the first three years of the 2022 batch is Rs. 5,60,000 per year on average. For the last two years it will be as per that year’s Postgraduate programme. The course fee includes lodging, access to lectures, internet facilities and library. Accommodation is usually arranged on sharing basis for the first three years of IPM. Single room accommodation would be mostly made available for the fourth and fifth years of the Programme. The total comes close to Rs. 16,80,000 for 3 Years, apart from the MBA program.
In total, the fee for IIM Indore IPM Programme would be somewhere close to 37,00,000.
