Question 12 : Who is C's partner in a game of cards involving four players A, B, C and D?
I. D is sitting opposite to A.
II. B is sitting right of A and left of D.
It is implicit that people who are sitting opposite to each other are partners.
From statements I, we can see that A is opposite to D and B is opposite to C and therefore B is the partner of C.
From statement II, B is sitting to the right of A and left of D. This means that B is opposite to C and hence partner of C.
Statement I or II alone is sufficient to answer the question.
The question is "Who is C's partner in a game of cards involving four players A, B, C and D?
