Explanatory Answer

The base can be drawn in any one of the lines in 5C2 ways = 10 ways
A triangle can be formed by selecting a base and joining the ends of the base with a third point.
No of points left to choose the third point from = 15
Total no of lines = 4
Hence total number of triangles = 10 x 15 x 4 = 600

The answer is '600'

Choice D is the correct answer.
