Explanatory Answer

Two schemes A and B, A = 14% pa and B = 11% pa
Amount earned = Rs 3508
Assuming Rs x invested in Scheme B,
Then Rs (13900 - x) is invested in scheme A

S.I = \\frac{PNR}{100})
\\frac{(13900 - x) × 2 × 14}{100}) + \\frac{(x) × 2 × 11}{100}) = 3508
On Solving we get x = Rs 6400

The answer is 6400

Choice A is the correct answer.
