The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the programme.

IIM Ranchi does not conduct a separate exam for their IPM Programme. They consider IIM Indore's IPMAT Score for their Interview Shortlist. To know more about IIM Indore's IPMAT Exam, click here.

There are 90 questions in total out of which 75 questions are MCQ type and the remaining 15 questions are Short Answer(SA) type. For MCQ, you will be given 4 options to choose from for every question. Every question carries either +4 or -1 marks. So, if you get the right answer, you get a +4, and a -1 if you get the wrong answer. For SA type questions, +4 for correct answers, there are no negative marking for incorrect answers.
There’s no penalty for unanswered questions.

The maximum acceptable age of the candidate as of June 30th 2023 should be 20 years.	You should have a minimum of 60% in Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or other equivalent examinations. If you belong to the SC/ST/PWD category, the minimum % of marks is 55%. Note: Make sure you calculate the conversions from marks/grade points to percentages or aggregates properly (as specified in the application).	Keep your Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or other equivalent examinations’ mark sheets and migration/leaving certificate ready during the time of registration itself. Should you fail to produce these documents, your admission offer will be cancelled Note: To apply to IPM Ranchi 2023, you should have completed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations by the end of June, 2023.

Admissions for the IPM programme of IIM Ranchi batch of 2023-28 & onward, only scores of IPMAT (Conducted by IIM Indore) will be considered. SAT scores will no longer be accepted for admission in the IPM programme of IIM Ranchi for the batch of 2023-28 & onward.

IIM Ranchi would like to inform that for admission into the IPM programme of IIM Ranchi batch of 2023-28 & onward, only scores of IPMAT (Conducted by IIM Indore) will be considered. Hence SAT Scores will no longer be accepted for admission in IPM Programme of IIM Ranchi for the batch of 2023-28 & onward. The institute reserves the rights to change/modify the admission process/criteria.

The program is designed to provide a multidisciplinary foundation borrowing from humanities, social sciences, arts, and sciences. The program’s cross-disciplinary business core builds on such a foundation. It comprehensively covers management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, information systems, data science, and strategic management. Lectures, classroom discussions, experiential lessons, case analyses, simulations, group projects, internships, and mentorships create a learning environment that is active and immersive. Additionally, the program offers life-skill courses that focus on their holistic development as professionally and socially responsible individuals. According to the information given on the website, fees for the first three years of the 2023 batch is Rs. 5,31,000 per year on average. For the last two years, it will be as per that year’s Postgraduate programme. The course fee includes lodging, access to lectures, internet facilities and library. Accommodation is usually arranged on twin sharing basis for the first three years of IPM. Single-room accommodation would be mostly made available for the fourth and fifth years of the Programme. The total comes close to Rs. 15,93,000 for 3 Years, apart from the MBA program
So, in total, the fee for IIM Ranchi IPM Programme is Rs. 31,23,000.

The deadline to apply for IPM 2023-28 is 5:00 PM 9th May 2023. The application fee for General, EWS & NC-OBC categories is Rs. 2500/- and Rs. 1250/- for SC, ST & DAP Categories. Once the application fees has been paid and application form has been submitted by the candidate, he/she is required to re-login and update the IPMAT 2023 (Conducted by IIM Indore) Application Number by 5:00 PM 31st May 2023.
