IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2021 notification has been released on the official website. COVID-19 (the number ’19’ seems like a complete misnomer now) has meant there are quite a few important itineraries that have got shifted, and the IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2021 is going to be no different.

The basic eligibility criteria
Any candidate who wishes to appear in the IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2021 should meet two basic eligibility criteria.
1) Academics
The candidates belonging to the General, NC-OBC and EWS categories should have scored a minimum of 60% in their tenth grade and twelfth grade examinations. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories, the threshold is kept at 55%.

Yeah, anticipated.
And the question is going to be about what if a candidate is yet to appear for the higher secondary board examination. The answer is that the candidates will be allowed to write the examination and be part of the selection process. If they do get selected, the admission will be provisional.
2) Age
The candidates should not be older than 20 years of age.
Now that this part is clear, let us move on to the actual process itself.
The registration process for the IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2021 – dates and timelines
The registrations have started on 15 February (Monday) and will go on until 4 May (Tuesday).
What is the registration fee?
Of course, that is the most important point. A candidate has to shell out INR 3,890.
When is the IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2021 going to be held?
Well, that is the most crucial aspect that every IPM aspirant might want to hear. Given the CBSE Board examinations come to a close on 11 June once and for all, IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2021 is going to be held on 19 June, between 9 am and 11 am.
Note: An earlier version of the official announcement from IIM Rohtak had stated the examination would be conducted on 12 June, 2021 (Saturday) between 2 pm and 4 pm.
The examination pattern
The total duration of the examination is going ot be 120 minutes (2 hours). Split across three sections – Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability – each having a set of 40 questions, the timing for each section is capped at 40 minutes.
In short, there are a total of 120 questions, which need to be attempted in 120 minutes.

The marking scheme
Each correct answer fetches 4 marks, while an incorrect answer gets a penalty of 1 mark. All the questions are going to be of the MCQ format.
The post-IPMAT process – Online Personal Interview
The interviews will be held tentatively during the third and fourth week of July. Candidates will shortlisted for the Online Personal Interview based on their IPMAT 2021 scores.
The final selection parameters at IIM Rohtak
There are three different parameters that decide the selection of a candidate to the IIM Rohtak’s IPM 2021-26.

When will the candidates get to know the final result?
As per the official announcement, the final merit list will be released by the second week of August 2021, and the classes will start by September 2021.
