Congratulations! Your chances of doing MBA from one of the best colleges in India have now shot up significantly. IIFT has announced their new Integrated Programme in Management. What’s more is that they’ll be accepting IPMAT scores. So now, with one stone (IPMAT) you can kill three birds: IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, and IIFT. That’s every MBA aspirant’s dream roster of institutes, and you’ll get to call the dibs!
WHAT IS INTEGRATED PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT?
Integrated Program in Management or IPM is a five-year fully residential course that will be offered at IIFT-Kakinada. This programme aims to integrate managerial science and decision making with technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Candidates successfully completing the course requirements of the programme would be awarded Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) at the end of 3 years and a Master of Business Administration(International Business) at the end of 5 years by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. While the first three years of the IPM program would be based on semester system, the last two years would be based on the trimester system.
MODE OF ADMISSION
For short-listing the candidates, IIFT will use score of IPMAT 2022 examination conducted by IIM-Indore. Merit list for the admission will be prepared on the basis of IPMAT 2022 score of IIM-Indore, academic profile of class 10th and gender diversity.
WHAT IS IPMAT?

- 120 minutes, 3 sections, and 60 questions (YET!)
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability (short answer), Quantitative Ability (MCQ)
- Sectional Weightage does not equals to Score Distribution.
Yes, you read that right. There are two sections dedicated to Quantitative Ability *gasp*! Being comfortable with numbers is a must for IPMAT but worry not when 2IIM is here.
