This appeared in the CAT 2019 question paper. It is from the exponents topic. Exponents usually are a tough topic but we do get some easy questions occasionally. Analyzing CAT previous year paper, there are usually 2 or 3 questions that one can expect from this topic. Hence it is very important that you prepare for this topic religiously during your Online CAT Preparation
Question 2 : If (5.55)x = (0.555)y = 1000, then the value of \\frac{1}{x}) - \\frac{1}{y}) is
(5.55)x = (0.555)y = 1000
=> (5.55)x = 1000
=> (5.55) = ---- (1)
