Question 57 : The percentage decline in exports during the period 2006-2011 is more than the percentage decline in exports during 2012-2017 by approximately
The percentage decline in exports during the period 2006-2011 = (Exports in 2006 – Exports in 2011 )/(Exports in 2006) *100
= (280 -220)/(280) * 100
= (60)/(280) * 100
= 300/14 %
= 21.42 %
The percentage decline in exports during the period 2012-2017 = (Exports in 2012 – Exports in 2017 )/(Exports in 2012) *100
= (210 -200)/(220) * 100
= (10)/(220) * 100
= 100/22 %
= 4.45%
The difference in percentage = (300/14) – (100/22) %
= 16.88%
So, The percentage decline in exports during the period 2006-2011 is more than the percentage decline in exports during 2012-2017 by approximately 16.5%.
The question is "The percentage decline in exports during the period 2006-2011 is more than the percentage decline in exports during 2012-2017 by approximately"
