Method of solving this CAT Question from Coordinate Geometry
CAT 2017 Question Paper Quants Slot 2 Coordinate Geometry

The points (2,5) and (6,3) are two end points of the diagonal of a rectangle.
The midpoint can be found by (\\frac{2 + 6}{2}) , \\frac{5 + 3}{2})) = (4 , 4)
Hence y = 3x + c passes through the midpoint of (4, 4), which is the midpoint of the other diagonal
4 = 3(4) + c
c = -8
