Question 18 :Let ABCD be a rectangle inscribed in a circle of radius 13 cm. Which one of the following pairs can represent, in cm, the possible length and breadth of ABCD?
Since, ABCD is a rectangle inscribed inside a circle
ABC must be a Right triangle
Given that radius of Circle = 13 cms
5, 12, 13 forms a Pythagorean Triplet
10, 24, 26 is also a Pythagorean triplet
So, 10 and 24 are possible length and breadth of ABCD
The question is "Let ABCD be a rectangle inscribed in a circle of radius 13 cm. Which one of the following pairs can represent, in cm, the possible length and breadth of ABCD?"
Choice D is the correct answer.
