IIT Delhi | MBA 2021-23: Selection Criteria and Deadlines

IIT Delhi announced the commencement of the application process for their MBA 2021-23 Program this week. What are the important dates and deadlines one needs to keep in mind? What are the eligibility criteria for their highly coveted MBA Program and what is the weightage given to each parameter? We will answer all of these questions and more, in this concise article.

Why IIT Delhi?

Perhaps the answer to this question is blatantly obvious within the psyche of most B-School Aspirants, but we’ll give it a shot nevertheless. Firstly, an MBA from IIT Delhi is equivalent to a treasure trove of quality managerial knowledge and exposure. It doesn’t hurt to keep in mind that although the tag of an IIM is missing (if that matters to you), an MBA from a Tier-1 (within the A+++ category) Institute such as IIT Delhi is highly esteemed and educational.

The Return on Investment is relatively high compared to IIMs, with a fee of 9.6 lakhs for IIT-D’s MBA vs an average of 15+ Lakhs for IIMs. Companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, Shell, Wipro, IBM, HP and more, come for recruitments within IIT-D’s MBA Program.

IIT Delhi’s MBA Program offers multiple specializations:

  1. Marketing
  2. Finance
  3. Information Systems Management
  4. Operations Management
  5. Strategic Management
  6. Telecommunication Systems Management

but they, while their companions slept,
were toiling upward in the night.
