IIM Rohtak is the latest entrant into the list of B-schools that have officially released their admission process and selection criteria, followed by FMS Delhi recently.
How does the criteria look like? What is the minimum CAT 2020 score/percentile that is required for the various categories? Are there sectional cutoffs? Let’s dive in and find answers to all these and much more.
CAT 2020 percentiles and IIM Rohtak’s initial shortlist
This is going to be a criteria that could bring relief to some, and anxiety to others. The CAT 2020 percentile is going to be the only selection mechanism that decides whether or not a candidate gets shortlisted for the further rounds of the process.
The following table illustrates the minimum overall percentile required to be considered for the subsequent phases of the selection process at IIM Rohtak.
Category | CAT 2020 aggregate percentile |
General | 95 |
EWS | 90 |
NC-OBC | 78 |
SC | 55 |
ST | 30 |
DAP (PwD) | 30 |
Notice something important?
There is no weightage to past academic scores also. If you are one of those who have scored 74% in 10th and 82% in 12th (or any such percentage, for that matter), there is a reason to be relieved.
Also, there seems to be no clarity on whether or not IIM Rohtak will consider sectional cutoffs.
